Rose Sweaters Ltd. commenced manufacturing in June 2000 with a foundational fleet of 220 manual hand-flat sweater machines, serving standard knitwear export requirements. In 2006 the group established Madinaple Fashion Craft Ltd., a second sweater factory in Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
The first major pivot toward advanced manufacturing came in 2007, when the company integrated 10 Shima Seiki and 20 Stoll automated machines onto the production floor. A dedicated second unit followed in July 2009, purpose-built for high-volume export operations.
During the 2015-2016 fiscal period Rose Sweaters completed its transition to a 100% automated knitting facility, and the group simultaneously diversified into intimate apparel by establishing Rose Intimates Ltd.
Today the facility operates a fleet of 515 fully automated Shima Seiki machines, alongside industrial hydro washing, recycled-steam drying, integrated product development studios and sustainable material sourcing.
